Parts identification

A number is always moulded on cast ATE components. Can you convert this into an ATE item number?

Unfortunately it is not possible to identify a part from the casting numbers. Please contact our sales partner, who can send the ATE component to our specialists for identification. Please note that there is a charge for this service.

Parts identification

I have an ATE brand brake booster. There is an ATE number on an adhesive label, but my dealer cannot recognise it. Is the booster still available?

These complete braking unit numbers encode the TMC, the brake fluid container and the brake booster. Please contact one of our sales partners for identification and to answer the question of whether the booster is still available. Give the dealer the whole number, and refer to the "Complete brake boosters" list in our catalogue. Alternatively, you can look for a suitable brake booster using the web catalogue search based on the data from the vehicle documents.

I've got a stacker truck, tractor or similar commercial vehicle, and I need ATE brand brake parts. Who can I contact?

Unfortunately ATE replacement parts are not offered for commercial vehicles. In this case, please contact the vehicle maker.

The vehicle manufacturer has specified brake fluid to DOT 3 for my vehicle. Can I also put brake fluid to DOT 4 in?

Brake fluid

I would like to put silicone brake fluid in my car. Is there a silicone brake fluid from ATE?

ATE does not supply a silicone brake fluid. Please take note of and follow the specifications of the vehicle manufacturer! ATE recommends that only fluids to the DOT class recommended by the vehicle maker are used.

Repair

Is it possible to repair parts from ATE Hydraulic, and who must I contact about that?

It is a condition for repair that the ATE component can no longer be supplied through the normal sales channels. If that is the case, it can be sent in to ATE through one of our sales partners. We will then check whether it is possible to carry out repair, and may quote you a price.
